Teaching and study facilities

Directly above the Robert Sainsbury Library is the SRU student study area alongside faculty, fellows and project offices. This area gives students their own study desk with lockable drawers, access to networked PCs and printing and scanning facilities. It is a space to read, write and network with other students and SRU faculty, all with a great view over the Sainsbury Centre collections.

The SRU also has its own dedicated seminar room in the building with a wide range of audio visual equipment. It is used for teaching, regular talks and seminars, and can be booked for other meetings and events as required.

There are other shared student areas within the adjacent Department of Art History and World Art studies and also public gallery and catering spaces in the rest of the Sainsbury Centre building, all of which fosters a lively collegiate environment for work and study.

Finally, as part of the UEA itself, all of the facilities of the University campus are close at hand, including the Main Library with its 24/7 IT areas and quiet study spaces, lecture theatres and other student services.
