Matthew Sillence

Matthew Sillence attended the University of Warwick 1998-2001 as an undergraduate in the History of Art department and continued his studies in the same discipline at the University of York 2001-2002. He worked for three years at the University of York Library and Archives as a project cataloguer and library assistant. In 2009 he received his doctorate in the School of World Art Studies and Museology at the University of East Anglia (UEA). His interests are in art history generally and sigillography (the study of seal matrices and impressions) in particular.
